SBI Mutual Fund launches SBI Energy Opportunities Fund

Highlights of the NFO:

  • Scheme type ? An open-ended equity scheme following the energy theme

  • Investment objective ? The investment objective of the scheme is to provide investors with opportunities for long term capital appreciation by investing in equity and equity related instruments of companies engaging in activities such as exploration, production, distribution, transportation and processing of traditional & new energy including but not limited to sectors such as oil & gas, utilities and power. However, there can be no assurance that the investment objective of the scheme will be realized.

  • Product suitability ? The product is suitable for investors who are seeking long term Capital appreciation by investing in equity and equity related instruments of companies engaged in and/or expected to benefit from the growth in traditional & new energy sectors & allied business activities.

  • Minimum Application Amount ? First investment is Rs. 5,000/- and in multiples of Rs. 1/- thereafter

  • Plan/ Options available ? Direct Plan and Regular Plan having Growth and Income Distribution cum capital withdrawal (IDCW) option. IDCW will have the facility of Payout of Income Distribution cum capital withdrawal option (IDCW Payout) & Transfer of Income Distribution cum capital withdrawal plan (IDCW Transfer).
